Penguins are a full service events agency that specialise in designing, creating and delivering unique event experiences ranging from Brand/Product launches through to experiential & incentive based events. Based in Windsor, Penguins have carried out events for some of the country’s leading brands including British Airways, KP Snacks and Laithwaites wine both in the UK and abroad.

The challenge

The event space is constantly evolving, no longer are event companies just offering the actual event, they are now increasing their service offering to include pre and post event communications and management. In order to stay competitive with this industry shift, Itineris were commissioned to evolve the Penguins brand towards an ‘all service agency’ posture. Once the brand had been established we needed to raise the profile of Penguins to the market.

  • Approach

    Starting with the brand we wanted to create an approachable agency that can turn ideas into reality by utilising years of experience. The new brand wasn’t just confined to digital as we rolled it out across print, point of sale and signage to create a consistent look and feel. The messaging was tested using AdWords to see what keywords, terms and messages were resonating with the target audience. This was then fed back into on the SEO and online strategy.

  • Deliverables

    Combining brand repositioning with a new fully responsive and optimised website coupled with outbound marketing activity, we were able to naturally filter the quality of inbound leads that were being generated and move closer to being an exclusively corporate service provider rather than a wholesale events organisation.

  • Results

    Google AdWords campaign generated significant sales pipeline as well as useful insight into terminology and brand posture. Organic search traffic increased by 36% as a result and 21 associated search terms featured in the top 3 ranking positions.
