New sponsorship site launched to help charity
Digital marketing agency itineris has launched a new sponsorship website service to allow charities to have complete control over their online fundraising campaigns.  Unlike JustGiving and similar sites, the site will enable charities to collect 100% of the donations made, without a monthly fee and a percentage of each donation taken. It will also allow individuals and groups to set up personalised web pages for their own fundraising challenges and share the information with friends and family around the world.

The service was recently adopted by St Elizabeth Hospice, which provides services free of charge in Suffolk and Norfolk. 

Rachael Brown of St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “We rely on fundraising and donations to meet the majority of our £8.7million annual running costs and are always looking for new ways to encourage support. St Elizabeth Hospice Giving is a new initiative and allows our supporters to raise funds for us online in a simple and effective way. Unlike some other fundraising websites, there are no commission fees - so more of the sponsorship and donation money will come directly to the Hospice. On St Elizabeth Hospice Giving, supporters can post updates on their progress, upload images and see a running total of how much money they have raised for various fundraising initiatives.”

itineris offers services in creative design, digital strategy, email marketing, website design and development to a number of national and regional charities including The Leprosy Mission, the Royal Air Force Museum and the British Heart Foundation.
