New fundraising website helps St Elizabeth Hospice
Participants in this year’s Orwell Walk who are supporting St Elizabeth Hospice can now raise funds online thanks to a new JustGiving-style website created by Ipswich-based digital marketing agency itineris.

The new service has been established to give charities complete control over their online fundraising campaigns.  Unlike JustGiving, the site will enable the Hospice to collect 100% of the donations made, without a monthly fee and a percentage of each donation taken. It will also allow individuals and groups to set up personalised web pages for their own fundraising challenges and share the information with friends and family around the world.
The Hospice, which provides services free of charge in Suffolk and Norfolk, relies on fundraising and donations to meet the majority of its £8.7million annual running costs and is always looking for new ways to encourage support.

Rachael Brown, of St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “St Elizabeth Hospice Giving is a new initiative and allows supporters to raise funds for us online in a simple and effective way. Unlike some other fundraising websites, there are no commission fees - so more of the sponsorship and donation money will come directly to the Hospice. On St Elizabeth Hospice Giving, supporters can post updates on their progress, upload images and see a running total of how much money they have raised.”

Itineris, which offers services to national and regional organisations in creative design, digital strategy, email marketing, website design and development will also be participating in this year’s Orwell Walk to raise money for St Elizabeth Hospice.
