itineris have been awarded the contract to develop the web-based management solution for TechnologyWorld06, a major international event organised by UK Trade & Investment.
The event brings cutting edge technology companies together to form new business relationships with international partners from across the globe. Due to the success of last year, the event will be held in three locations across the UK. It begins at The Barbican, London on 15th May, moves to Hinxton Hall, Cambridge on 17th May and ends at MICC, Manchester on 19th May.
A sophisticated event management solution is needed to accommodate the rich, interactive nature of the event including exhibitions, seminars and real-time booking of pre-arranged face-to-face meetings that will take place during the event.
The bespoke solution will utilise core components of itineris’ i.meet technology to allow administrators to manage and monitor all event activities in real-time including online payments and invoicing. TechnologyWorld06 delegates will be able to browse profiles, book meetings and seminars across the three venues whilst recording their arrangements on a personal online diary.
