On average more than 400,000 people leave the UK to live overseas each year. Crown's global team of more than 4,000 professionals deliver a full range of relocation services for relocating employees, expatriates, diplomats and private customers. Crown were looking to develop a new site for UK migrants that met the following objectives;
1. Drive more business
2. 'Do business' online
3. Reduce operational and processing costs

We delivered a consumer website packed full of information and advice. The Where, When, Who and Why approach to the navigation targets customer needs and allows them quickly find the information they are looking for.
Interactive tools hav been provided to offer users ballpark costs and full quotations. The data captured in these processes allows Crown's Internet Sales Team to follow up by telephone and convert the business. The success of this multi-channel approach has allowed Crown to terminate other lead generation mechanisms.
We also created a 'mymove' secure area to enable customers to plan their journey from beginning to end. Tasks, such as 'Arrange Visas', are presented in a countdown format based on the customers move date and destination. This online service is unique to the sector and provides Crown with a competitive advantage. The destination & relocation knowledge provided to customers postions Crown as global experts. The tasks within the 'mymove area' draw users back to the website on a regular basis and offer Crown the opportunity to generate revenue by selling partner services.
The site has been built on our website content management system, i.content. This has provided Crown with a comprehensive marketing tool that means they can be in complete control of their website with limited technical knowledge.
The website has delivered on the original project objectives. As we continue to develop it is evolving to meet additional requirements and reduce operating costs.
