The makers of the UK's first eco-friendly milk bottle. The UK uses over five million tonnes of plastic each year. All the two litre plastic milk bottles used in the UK each year would fill the Albert Hall 50 times over.

Innovative new website for GreenBottle


I have been absolutely delighted with the service and the results from Itineris in producing the new website for GreenBottle. The site looks amazing; really fresh, modern, and easy for both the team and external users to navigate and understand, and they have taken our web presence from amateur to truly professional. It has been a fun process, and despite my best efforts to argue against some of the recommendations Itineris gave, they were right at every turn! Brief

GreenBottle are the innovators and manufacturers of the UK's first eco-friendly milk bottle, along with their new range of other eco-friendly bottles.

GreenBottle wanted a brand new website to completely modernise their online presence and to showcase their ever expanding range of bottles. The company also required a powerful content management system to allow its marketing team to have much more control of the content of the site.

Due to the growth of GreenBottle, they needed an complete update on our previous design to ensure their online presence was ready to appeal to the global market.

Fulfillment

The main focus of this project was to design a progressive and modern website that matched the revolutionary ethos of GreenBottle, as a major packaging innovation with the potential to replace plastic bottles, glass bottles, and laminated carton systems.

With this in mind, the website design brings together the best of modern design techniques with effective and engaging online marketing and information tools. The website had to appeal to range of audiences ranging from the high street consumers to the purchasing managers of leading supermarkets such as ASDA. Understanding these audiences and how they would interact with the site allowed us to create a user-centred design and structure that delivered at all levels.

Building the website on our bespoke content management system, i.content, gives GreenBottle the functionality to update their copy and images, and the platform to develop their website in the future as the range progresses.
