How do you stay on top of the latest digital developments?

- FIND: We often use digital jargon to demonstrate how 'switched on' we are to clients and colleagues.But how much do we really know?Be brave!Pick a term you don't understand and find out more. Half an hour's online detective work can tell you what a 'Mash-up' really is or de-mystify 'Universal search'.
- MAKE: Don't just read about digital – do it! You might think that sites such as Facebook and MySpace aren't relevant for you but set up your own profile to REALLY find out what they can do.Play with technology and have fun with it.
- SHARE: Start talking about what you find. Ask questions, dig deeper and create a culture within your organisation where sharing of ideas and information is actively encouraged.Don't write-off the quiet employee who spends his weekend playing on his computer.Just imagine what he might know about Google Labs.
- SAY YES!: Try saying 'yes' more often.Sign up for e-newsletters, click on pop-up ads, read viral emails and sign up for offers.You might find information that you can use and identify techniques that you can adapt for your clients.
